Amon Creek Natural Preserve 


 Join us for a free, family friendly 1.5-mile guided hike through Amon Creek Natural Preserve, a critical wildlife corridor that is home to a rich diversity of plants, birds, and animals. Groups will stop at learning stations featuring short presentations about: 
Bird banding demonstration 
Mammals of the wetlands & shrub-steppe 
Mid-Columbia Archaeological collection 
Shrub-steppe plants and ecology 
How to get started in birdwatching



 Location: Claybell Park - 425 Broadmoor St., South Richland 

Time: Staggered start times beginning at 9:00 a.m. Tours will depart from Claybell Park every 10 minutes; the last tour leaves at 10:00 a.m.
