HELP NEEDED--Native tree and shrub planting in Amon Preserve with Tapteal Greenway

The beavers have been very busy in Amon Creek Natural Preserve, taking out a large number of cottonwoods, willows, sumac, and even Russian olives and sagebrush. We are partnering with the experts at WildLands and offering two opportunities for you to help plant trees and shrubs to improve the habitat along the west fork of Amon Creek. We will be fencing all new plantings.

Tools needed: post hole digger, gravel rakes, T-post driver, pliers, work gloves.

Please RSVP to taptealgreenway@gmail.com if you can help.

We will meet at Claybell Park at 9 a.m. each day.

THURSDAY MARCH 8 and SATURDAY MARCH 10
