I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Bill Allen and I, along with my wife Janet, live at 222 Center Blvd. At the community meeting last Tuesday (November 15th) I volunteered to be the new Watch Captain for our Neighborhood Watch Group. I want to thank Gayle for getting everyone's email addresses to me.
I have opened a direct line of communication with Officer Rick Kane of the Community Services Division, Richland Police Department and he forwarded this picture of a watch sign that will be posted at the entrance on Leslie and Willowbrook Place. I am also ordering a second sign that I would like to post at the entrance on Leslie and Center Blvd.
Office Kane also shared a link so we may remain current with any criminal activity that has been reported in this area. I plan to notify you of this activity on a recurring basis; however, for those who would like to see for themselves, you may visit www.crimereports.com. Simply enter your address and the data with populate for this area. This site is updated every four hours.
Since this is our first effort to form a Neighborhood Watch Group, I would request that you contact me with any specific concerns or suggestions you may have. My family and I have lived here for nearly eleven years and, in that time, Willowbrook has always been a relatively crime-free area. It is our intended purpose to keep it that way. Again, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time through this email or at one of the numbers listed below.
